Chapter Review

Data and Computer Communications

I am currently at work on a new edition of my textbook, Data and Computer Communications. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to carefully read a chapter to check for technical errors, computational errors, and typos. In return, you will be acknowledged in the Preface and receive a free copy of the book when it comes out in late 2016. I would need feedback in about 4 to 6 weeks. I have a limited quota of books from my publisher, so this is a limited-time offer.
This is a technical rather than a user book, so you need a technical background in this area. The chapters for which I need feedback are:

3 Data Transmission (transmission impairments, channel capacity)
4 Transmission Media (wired media, wireless propagation)
5 Signal Encoding (NRZ, biphase, FSK, PCM, etc)
6 Error detection and correction
10 Cellular Wireless Networks
12 Ethernet
13 WiFi
14 Internet Protocols (IPv4, IPv6, IP addresses)
15 Transport Protocols
17 Wireless Transmission Techniques (MIMO, OFDMA, DSSS, CDMA)
18 Wireless Networks (WiMax, Bluetooth)
19 Routing (techniques, Internet routing protocols)
20 Congestion Control
23 MPLS
24 Internet Applications (SMTP/MIME, DNS, HTTP)
25 Multimedia (Real-time traffic, VoIP)

If you are interested please contact me at  and indicate which chapter you would like to review. Thank you!
